July was a busy month, where our volunteers reached out into a number of surrounding areas. We are so thankful for our energetic, passionate and committed team who work tirelessly for this cause, and are so passionate about spreading awareness of breast cancer. When detected early… It CAN be beaten.
A team of RFR volunteers also travelled Phoenix Where we shared our message of the vital importance of early detection to the local community. It was a wonderful morning of information, hope and inspiration. The survivors all stood in unity while the talented Miranda sang “I’m Alive” .
At Wentworth Hospital two of our Durban Volunteers, Khatija & Shireen, provided individual support at the local government hospital and promoting our Ditto project, which provides a silicone prosthesis to state hospital patients.
