Reach for Recovery Kimberley hosted a “Pretty-in-Pink” Breakfast on Saturday, 17 October 2018.  The event was held at The Kimberley Club Boutique Hotel, and was attended by 160 guests .  We were especially pleased to welcome members from the Bloemfontein Branch at our event.  The Acting Chair Lady, Tania Naudé, welcomed our guests, and acted as MC. She gave feedback on our Ditto Project and Bra Project at The Kimberley Hospital Oncology Depart, our Patient Support and  our May Bag Project. Funds raised at the Breakfast will be used to add to our stock of bras, which we provide for free to our Ditto Project Patients.

Each guest received RFR key rings, which we had especially made.  Our guest speaker, Margaret Lamprecht, gave an inspiring talk on the “A Woman’s Role as Life Giver”.

We held a “Pretty-in-Pink” competition, which Lynette Johnson won – her prize, a R500 gift voucher from Woolworths.  The morning was concluded by Ardath Datnow, now retired, but still holding a special place in all our hearts.
