Our awesome, committed, passionate team of KZN Volunteers, have given 110% over this past month to promote breast cancer awareness, and support and encourage patients that cancer can be beaten. Our volunteers have attended over 40 events, (and there are only 31 days in October), and shared the love and support tirelessly.

The Reach for Recovery flag was kept flying high in our Province, and our ‘Reaching Out” extended from Amanzimtoti in the South, to Richards Bay/Empangeni in the North…from Durban to Ladysmith.

Through the generous donations of sponsors and supporters, we were able to provide 40 Mammograms for women who were at risk, and with no medical aid. Sadly a couple of patients were found to have lumps, with breast cancer confirmed after a biopsy was performed.  Through these mammograms, the cancer was hopefully found early enough, which now gives our sisters a fighting chance. Special thanks to KZN Slots for helping us to truly make a difference and save lives.

We are so proud of our new fledgling groups which were trained and launched in KZN at the beginning of this year. This was their first October Awareness experience.High Tea Stage Hight tea foyer KZN Slots donation Ready For Guests Richards Bay Sandy and Zakia
