August (Women’s Month) has been a really busy month for our RFR Durban team.  We have had invitations, talks and awareness tables spread across our province.  Our volunteers have worked tirelessly with such passion and dedication, and have spread the message of breast cancer awareness far and wide.

Our  RFR team from Durban, spent a wonderful morning at the Ethembeni Crisis Centre in KwaNdengezi, educating and informing the local women about breast cancer,  the importance of early detection, and the support & services that RFR can provide.  We were welcomed so warmly by this awesome community.   Our  isiZulu speaking Volunteers did a fantastic job,  speaking with and informing the local women (and some men),

It has been a goal of RFR Durban for the past few years to ‘Reach Out’ further into rural KZN, and we were reminded of this great need again during this event. We are committed, and will continue to strive to open up new areas of support in our beautiful province.
