Wednesday 4 February is World Cancer Day, an international day of action in the fight against cancer. World Cancer Day takes place every year to raise awareness and inspire change.

This year’s theme is ‘Not beyond us’ signifying the things that we can do as individuals and a globally connected community to prevent and beat cancer.
The campaign focuses on four key priorities – healthy life choices, early detection, equal access to treatment, and quality of life for those affected.

RRI and Reach for Recovery supports the initiatives of UICC to raise awareness about the burden of cancer and encourage individuals, communities and governments to promote global changes in policy to improve cancer outcomes.

Please contact your nearest Reach for Recovery Group to see how you can become involved in the fight against breast cancer.
