Sixteen  new candidates attended the Peer Support Training Course in Pretoria from 20 – 22 May 2016.  Two of them have already completed their three Buddy Visits and attended Breast Clinics. They will soon be the proud recipients of their Certificates of completion. Some others are also near to the finishing line and competing to see who get there first.  We are so happy with the young survivors who attended. We see a great future for our new volunteers.

Successful volunteer training cannot happen without the loyal input of Lecturers who help us every year with their knowledge and experience eg. Dr. Hans Jekel, Andrea Brummer, Nanette van Deventer, Lisa Kraut, Felicity Mullan and  Stephné Jacobs.

We welcome all our new volunteers to the Pretoria Group and thank them for being available to support breast cancer patients in hospitals in our area.
